CONTINENTAL DRIFT: SOUTH SUDAN
In this chapter, Matt Black follows the distribution of foreign aid from the International Humanitarian City in Dubai to South Sudan where more than half of its entire population is starving and reliant on this aid to survive. Food and supplies are regularly airdropped across the country providing basic necessities to over 90,000 people. Matt’s photographs portray a stark contrast between the order and abundance of those who have so much and the desperation and instability of those who have appallingly little.
